Mary C. Stanley MPS, ATR-BC - women, children, adolescents, and parenting
Groups are a wonderful way to receive the benefits of therapy with peers in a safe and healing environment. You may also find they are a cost-effective alternative to 1:1 therapy. A therapeutic group is formed and scheduled once I have the minimum required participants. Here are a sampling of groups I offer :

MASTERS SUPERVISION: 6 member maximum; monthly; 3 hours; on- going
Description: If you are a masters level professional using visual imagery with your clients, this group is for you. Using art to reflect on clients with fellow professionals you will gain valuable insight into the work you are doing under the supervision and guidance of a registered and board certified art therapist. This group is open and ongoing, offered the 2nd Monday of each month. An RSVP is required and more details (location) are given upon request.

INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY SESSIONS: by appointment; 1-2 hours; usually weekly
Description: For a more individual approach, please contact myself about how I can assist in addressing your individual or family need.

THERAPEUTIC DOLLMAKING:
4-6 members; weekly; 2 hours; 8 week sessions
Dolls are typically used in the therapeutic relationship with children, allowing them to communicate safely their experience(s) and felings as well as develop mastery and control over a particular situation. this group is for adults and will employ the tradition of Waldorf dollmaking, using natural materials and simple features. This group runs for 8 weeks, meeting once per week for 2 hours. Group size is limited to 6 to maximize the benefit for all. No sewing experience required.
